"Steal the Look" App | REVIEW

Hello, ladies! Long time, no see.

Today I came back with another review, but this time is not on a product. I know is going to sound weird....but it's for an app. Yes, you read that well! An app. This app is for the make-up lovers out-there, and I'm sure you will enjoy this post! So stay tuned!

"Steal the Look" is an application made by the well-known brand Wet'n'Wild. You can get it both for iOS and Android and it's completely free.
Let's say you flip trough a magazine and you see a gorgeous picture of a model, and you like her make-up...but you have no idea what products/shades you should use. Well...this is what this app does. Helps you recreate the looks that you see. You just snap a picture with your phone and then the app shows you everything you need to know. It also recommends products from Wet'n'Wild that fits your skin-tone (unfortunately I don't have this brand in my country, but I can still use the app).
I feel like is really easy to use, and I think whoever came with this idea of an app, is a genius! This app is really helpful for all of the make-up beginners out-there.

Let's see how it works...

1 step:
Take a picture:

Step 2:
Tap the lips:

Step 3:
Tap the eyelid:

Step 4:
Tap the lid crease:

Step 5:

Step 6:

Step 7:

I am really excited for this app and it's really cool. Plus it makes your job easier, because you don't have to struggle finding the right shades and products. I totally recommend on getting it and using it.

Hope you enjoyed it!
Let me know if you get this app and your opinion!

TRENDS | Midi rings

Hello, lovelies!

Today I came back with another blog-post, but this time is about one trend that I'm extremely in-love with... MIDI RINGS.
For me accessories make all the difference when it comes to outfits and looks. I feel like the right accessories can bring your outfit to the next level. Especially if you are in a hurry one day, but you have absolutely no inspiration to choose your clothes (and we all know how often that happens....or it is just me?!), you can just take a pair of jeans and a black tee and pair whatever accessories you want...and BOOM, you look really put together, like you spend 2 hrs to choose your outfit (when in reality, you didn't..haha). So that's how obsessed I am with accessories in general. But I have a thing for midi-rings. Especially since I got my nails done, I only gravitate towards these rings...and I said especially since I got my nails done, because I feel like these rings don't look good at all if you don't have a perfect manicure. Don't know why, but midi rings look sooooo sexy to me :).
So, from time to time, I get a new obsession. Obsession like...I'm only buying that kind of item. I had an obsession with headbands, and then another obsession for long necklaces, and then for pink...the list can go on, now it's for these rings. So, I'm going to show you a few pictures with my midi-rings, just for an inspiration :).

So, these are the midi-rings that I own right now, but I have a feeling that my collection will grow pretty fast. If you ask me, the rings in the first picture are my favorite. I don't know why, but that ring that goes over my nail is pretty awesome:).

Let me know what trends you like in the comment section below.

My favorite Face Mask | Montagne Jeunesse

Hello again!

*image from

For today's blog post, I want to write about my favorite brand for face mask, which is The Montagne Jeunesse. I have been using the face masks from this brand for many years now, and they never disappointed me. Never. I don't have a specific one that I buy every single time, I like to try all of them (except the hot ones :D). Today I got the chocolate one, and I have been using it before.

The reason why I like this brand?
Firstly, because the package is little (0,7 oz/ 20 ml) so you get to use it 1 or 2 times. I don't like to buy a ginormous bottle that will last me a long time, because I feel like is disgusting to put a mask on your face after the bottle has been opened for a few months.

Second, they don't leave your skin very tight. I know masks are supposed to dry a little bit your skin, but with these ones you don't feel like you still have the mask on, after you took it off (if you know what I mean). And you can really feel that is cleansing your face. It leaves your skin very clean and soft.

Then, I like the fact that they don't contain any kind of parabens, which is great in my opinion.
I like to stay away from these, especially with the products that I'm applying on my face. Plus, they smell freakin amazing.
The price is pretty low in my opinion (around 2$ - depends on the country), and they are really doing their job!

If you get a chance to buy this masks, I totally recommend them!

August Favorites 2014

* image from

and hello, ladies!
Today I decided to do something new on my blog...which is a post with my favorite products and movies from the previous month. For me, fall, and especially the month of September is my favorite of the year! Don't know why though... :) Anyways, back on the subject. So I'm going to show you which products I used the most the previous month.

Starting with...

If you read my blog for a while, I'm sure you saw that this is not the first time mentioning these 2 products: Yes to Tomatoes Cleanser (I did a review for it here), and Avene Thermal Water. I use the thermal water the entire year, but I feel like in the month of August I used it even more. Maybe because it was extremely hot inside the house...and outside. So this was, basically, the only way I could refresh my face, because the water inside of it, is cold even if in the room is hot.

The Garnier BB-cream was the only thing I have put on my face this month. To be honest with you, the only reason I started to put the BB cream on my face, was because my foundation was getting to light for my skin-tone, since my face got tanned and the BB was a little darker (since it was my mom's...and my mom has a darker tone). Anyways, I put the BB cream with that reason, and I could't stop using it. It is a little bit annoying at firsat, because it feels a little heavy on the skin (BTW, if you get it and you want to use it, make sure you put a little amount at first), but when your skin absorbs the product, it feels great. You don't even notice that you have something on your face. It's exactly like a moisturizer, it feels heavy at first, but then you can't even feel it.
ELF 150 color eye-shadow palette . Of course I did a review on this product (if you haven't seen it, click here). So you know already how obsessed I am with this palette. I freakin' love it! Every single damn time I did my make-up since I got this palette, I had to use. I didn't choose to use it....I HAD to...if you know what I mean :). This palette beats everything I have when it comes to eye-shoadows.

I think the first movie I saw in August was Lucy. Now, the movie itself, in my opinion, has some down-sides. There were parts where I got bored, or I felt like it was way to much...but the idea of the movie is brilliant (that's why it was a fav). I am not going to say anything about the story, because I don't want to give spoilers, but I put the IMDb link, so you can read there if you are interested. I totally recommend on seeing this movie. Totally.

So, these are my favorites for the month of August 2014. I'm totally ready for fall, I'm very excited, new clothes, new season, new school...I cannot wait.

It would really, really, mean a lot to me if you would write me in the comments what makes you excited for the up-coming season. Sweater weather, hot tea...I don't know :)

Thank you for reading my post!

Review| Rimmel London Glam'EYES Liquid Liner

Hello, hello! <3

I have to be honest, I cannot live without liquid eyeliner...this is my go-to make-up product for my everyday look. Since I was out of the one that I had, I decided to go and buy a new one. I wanted something with an average price, because even though I love liquid eyeliner, I don't want to spend a fortune on it.
So the one that looked pretty okay in the store and had a good price, was Rimmel London Glam'EYES liner.  I couldn't find the exact price for it online (US), but I don't think is more than 5-6$.

So here are my thoughts about this product...

Even though it has 2 cons, I don't think they are very bad, it is something that I can become used to. I think I love it especially because of the brush: the one that I used before it had a spongy applicator that wasn't very movable, so I was hard for me to create different looks.
But with this one, because of the thin brush, you can pretty much create whatever look that you want, you can make it very thin, or very dramatic.

I would definitely repurchase this product and of course, I definitely recommend it.
! If your store allows you to test the product, I would recommend to play with the brush a little bit on your hand. There's nothing more annoying than trying to make a cat-eye with an eyeliner brush that you hate :)

Thank you for reading my post!
Let me know if you try this product and what you think of it.

How to | Reuse your candle jars

Hello, ladies!

For today's blog-post, I want to show you my favorite way to reuse my candle jars. I have an obsession with candles and I burn them a lot, so I end up with lots of jars that I feel bad trowing away.  As a result, I found a way to transform them into something else, something more glamorous.

1st step:

Of course, the first thing you want to do is remove the leftover candle that is on the bottom of your jar. The easiest way to do this, is to put it into the refrigerator for about 6-7 hrs. Next, with a knife, crack the candle and you will see how easy it is to remove it.

2nd step:

After that, just wash it and your jar is ready.

3rd step:

I like to transform them into brush holder or pencil holder, but this depends on the shape of your jars. To glam them up a little bit I like to glue sparkles all over the jar. Now, you can put the glue inside the jar or on the outside. But I like better on the outside.

And voila, this is pretty much it! You can play with your imagination and glam them however you want.
It's super simple and easy!

Hope you enjoyed my post!
Thank you so much for supporting my blog and reading my posts!

Review| ELF 150-Colors Eyeshadow Palette

Hello, girls! Today I came back with another review, but this time on an eyeshadow palette from ELF Cosmetics.

I never had anything from ELF, so I was very curious in trying it out.  The moment I saw it, I was extremely excited because it has any color that you could possibly want/need/use...I mean it has 150 colors(shades actually), who would want something more than that?
I am very pleased with the pigmentation of the colors. To be honest, I didn't give too much credit to the palette (and I feel really bad right now) before I tested it, because the price is freaking low...I mean, 150 colors for 30$ (15$ right now, since it's on sale)? That is amazing. Anyways, back to the pigmentation. The colors show off on skin exactly like on the palette, which is pretty rare. Even the light yellow, or the browns are very pigmented, but in a very beautifully way. In general, if I'm looking for an eyeshadow palette, I am especially looking for browns...many, many shades of browns. But few palettes come with more than one or two. But with this get from light to medium and dark, and then from shimmery to matte..and not just with the browns, but with all the colors. I feel like this is a palette that any make-up lover :). You really get to play with it, which is awesome!
I also feel like this is great if you are a make-up artist, especially at the beginning,  because the price, again, is low, but you can do any kind of make-up that you want/someone requests.
I really, really recommend it and I love it very much! It is literally the best palette I have ever owned.

I'm going to give you a few swatches for the colors that are my favorites (because physically would be impossible to make the swatches for all of them LOL)...just to give you an idea on how they look, and how they transfer from my fingers to my skin.

Hope you will give it a try!
